About Dr. Tambrini

Alex A. Tambrini, Jr., MD has been in family practice since 1996. He treats patients from age 18 through geriatrics. Dr. Tambrini received his medical degree from Rush University-Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his family practice residency program at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Dr. Tambrini believes in treating the entire person both physically and emotionally. He concentrates on preventative medicine with the utmost respect for his patients' personal choices. He considers himself a partner with his patients in improving and maintaining their health. Dr. Tambrini's staff has a reputation for treating patients with courtesy and respect. His patients will see their doctor in the office as well as in the hospital. He and his family live and work in Homosassa. He and his wife, Sheralyn, have two daughters, Abigail and Samantha, who are avid athletes.
